Wohlhaupter builds modular tool systems for machining centres, including boring, facing and grooving heads and clamping tools. Allied Machine & Engineering manufactures holemaking and finishing systems in Dover, Ohio.

1929Emil Wohlhaupter founded a workshop for cutting and stamping-tool repair.

1944The company moved to Frickenhausen.

1973MultiBore introduced a modular system for quick, precise tool assembly.

2016Allied Machine & Engineering acquired the majority of Wohlhaupter shares.

The partnership created a full-range holemaking supplier and expanded distribution in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The product family includes Wohlhaupter, ThreadMills USA, Superion and Criterion, with value-added tooling focused on cost per hole.
